Here are some twinkle crochet christmas trees patterns that will add elegance to your home decor. These free crochet Christmas tree patterns are made in different sizes. For a smaller crochet Christmas tree, you should choose a thinner crochet hook. After making the trees in one piece, you make the twinkle garland and fix it to your tree. That’s all. Free crochet christmas tree patterns

Materials:

Yarn: worsted weight yarn in the desired colors of you choice.
I have used the following:
paintbox yarns cotton aran – 50g / 93 yds in racing green.
Hook:
3.25 mm (US size D)
2.75 mm (US size C)
2 skeins DMC embroidery floss in metallic copper or any sparkling yarn of your choice.
Fiberfill for stuffing.
Tapestry needle.
Stitch marker.

Stats: each tree is approximately 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall.

Terminology:

This pattern uses US terminology.
MR- magic ring
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
st(s)- stitch(es)
inc- increase
dec- decrease
BLO- back loop only
FLO- front loop only

Pattern notes:

1. The tree is constructed from top to bottom. The shiny garland is crocheted separately.
2. Work in coninuous rounds without joining the round with a slip stitch. Do not turn at the end of each round.
3. Use a stitch marker to keep track of beginning of each round and move the marker up to the first stitch next round after finishing
4. I recommended using an invisible decrease to avoid forming a gap between the stitches.
5. Firmly stuff as you work and over stuff slightly before finishing.
6. To make smaller tree, use any DK weight yarn with a smaller size hook.
