I am currently in love with cable stitches. They add a lot of style to outdoor accessories, but they are very easy to create! This hood is woven with a simple pattern of six stitches. If you are new to the cable industry, don’t be intimidated. If you’ve seen some You Tube tutorial videos, knitting can take you to a whole new level. Purllinknitting has a great simple cable tutorial.

I used Knit Picks Mighty Stitch Bulky Yarn in Granada to make this hood. First, I can’t beat the color! It’s the perfect red tone I was looking for … it reminds me of a glass of wine! And once woven, the scarf feels like a luxury on your skin! It’s so incredibly soft and cozy that you don’t want to take it off.
