Let’s talk about the thread I’m using. This is called Bernat Roving, it is soft brushed acrylic with a touch of wool to give it a nice matt finish. For me, it radiates the modern look of the thread that seems to have become increasingly popular lately. It is very similar to Paton’s itinerant wool, but with the added acrylic, it looks more fluffy.
