When I was a child, I was always covered in flour from head to toe when my family baked Christmas gingerbread cookies.
This is a tradition that I can’t remember. To this day I am still excited when I put on my apron, take out the cookie cutters from the closet and bake several cookies in different ways … I can’t wait for the day when I can pass on this special memory to my own children. (Even if they wreak havoc as I always have)!
