Walls
Worked in rows, with ch 1 and turn and the end of each.
In brown:
Ch 6
R1. starting in the 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each ch (5)
R2-5. (4 rows): 1 sc in each st (5)
Place 1st st marker between R5 and R6.
R6. 1 sc in each st. ch 2 (5)
R7. starting in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each st (6)
R8. 5 sc, inc (7)
R9. dec, 5 sc (6)
R10. 5 sc (5), this row will end 1st before the end of the row.
Place 2nd st marker between R10 and R11.
Repeat R1-R10.

Leave tail for sewing.
Using the brown tail, sew the two short edges together.
Find one of the spots you have placed a st marker (between R5 and R6, R10 and R11, R15 and R16, R20 and R1).
Fold the two rows together and attach the white yarn at one end.

Chimney
Worked in rows with ch 1 and turn and the end of each.
Start in brown.
Ch 4.
R1. Starting in the 2nd ch from hook 1 sc in each st (3)

Switch to white.
R5. Turn your piece and sc along the unfished edge (4)

Leave tails for both brown and white.
Sew the finished edges together to form a cylinder.
Assembly
Attach the white to one corner of the floor.
You will sc around the floor and the bottom of the walls all the way around.

Using the tail of the roof, sew the roof to the walls.
Your stitches should go through the top stitches of the walls and the row between the brown and white of the roof.
Make sure to place the point of the roof over the points of the walls.
Stuff before fully closing.
Attach the chimney to one side of the roof using the tail left on the chimney.
Using the darning needle and white worsted yarn embroider the door and windows.
Use the red and green (or other colors) to decorate as you see fit your gingerbread house.
