Crochet bell pattern
Materials:
Bell: chenille yarn in orange.
Bow: chenille yarn in pink.
4 mm crochet hook.
Stitch markers.
Scissors.
Yarn needle.
4 safety eyes 8 mm.
Optional: hot glue gun.
Optional: polyfill stuffing.
I used himalaya dolphin baby (100g/120m for hook size 4.5-6.5).
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
MR- magic ring
sc- single crochet
FLO- front loop only
FO- fasten off
Bell X2
Start with orange:
R1. MR with 6 sc (6)
R2. inc in all sc (12)
R3. (sc,inc)x6 (18)
R4-7. sc around (18) – 4 rounds
R8. (2sc,inc)x6 (24)
Crochet the next round a little looser than you normally would.
R9. FLO: sc around (24)
If you don’t want to stuff your bell you can FO now. If you want to stuff it pause here and do not FO.
Insert safety eyes between rounds 7 & 8 about 1 sc apart.
I didn’t stuff my bells and just left them open. If you want to close and stuff them come back to this page after you finished page 5:
Stuff your bell we will now work in the back loops of round 9:
R10: BLO(sc,dec)x6 (12)

FO and close the hole.
Bow
Start with pink:
We will now work in rows.
Leave a short tail before you start (=5 cm long).
Ch 3, start in the 2nd ch from hook:
R1. 2sc, ch 1, turn (2)
R2. inc x2, ch1, turn (4)
R3-10. 4 sc, ch 1, turn (4) – 8 rows
R11. dec x2, ch 1, turn (2)
R12. 2 sc, FO (2)
Leave a short tail (=5 cm long).
Assembly
1. Lay the piece flat on the table and fold the right side to the middle, pulling the thread through to the back.
2. Repeat with the other side.
3. Knot the two ends together on the back hide the tails.
Assembly
Pull a thread through the top of the two bells and knot them together.
Now we attach the bow.
I have choosen 2 points to attach the bow to the bells with a thread.
Just pull the thread through the bow and bell and knot the ends together inside the bell.
Attach to the marked points (=round 3).
