This week we have finally done something that I have been planning since we moved to our first home. We tear off the two evergreen shrubs covered with weeds and matted in the front yard! I will not bore you with the details, but it is enough to say that we were able to get rid of them for free but with a lot of fat in the elbow. I am very excited to plant some spring onions and have an orderly looking front yard. Our house was built in the 50s, so some projects will be needed to update it a bit. Although we were working on the bushes, I was able to review this crochet pattern from last year: the Slouchy Diagonal Hatch Hat.

One of my favorite things about this hat is that it works very fast. And because you first make the band, the size is fully customizable.
