For the teacher’s Christmas presents this year, I decided to make all children’s teachers mittens! Last year I designed my first pair of mittens for my eldest son’s teacher and they were a success. I usually wear hats, but none of the teachers seem to wear them often, so the gloves are! I work hard on the other couples, but this couple is ready and ready to share!
Rasta mittens are a light crochet pattern in which the vest stitch is used for a knitted look. This pattern works very quickly with a strand of Malabrigo Rasta, a super bulky thread. These mittens are made entirely from simple crochet and there is a video tutorial for the project. It uses size L and P crochet hooks, a stitch marker and a thread needle and is designed for the hand of an average woman with a diameter of approx. 20 cm.
